Inclusive: optimises the energy management of powertrain (gear, start & stop, power split) and auxiliary systems (air conditioning, etc.) at one;
Predictive: exploits driver behaviour and traffic prediction to optimise EM in a receding horizon approach;
Adaptive to: the journey characteristics, vehicle state, driver style, weather, traffic conditions;
Scalable: may work with or without V2X capabilities, with different performance;
Three different operation modes:
- standard: predicts driver’s intentions and optimizes EM accordingly;
- coaching: recommends a more appropriate green driving behaviour to the driver;
- autonomous: optimises both EM and vehicle speed at once, enabling autonomous driving.
